After many years in Brooklyn and New York City, Zimmerman's was established on Long Island in 1954 with the goal of offering stylish, high quality furniture at reasonable prices. Today, after over 50 years and four generations of family members, Zimmerman’s furniture has stood true to its original mission. Today, the 10,000 Sq. foot store features furniture from a wide variety of manufacturers, including the exclusive Zimmerman Collection.

Jeff Zimmerman, the owner, has created a collection of antique-inspired pieces and unusual decorative pieces known as the Zimmerman Collection. His collection has expanded internationally from 16 pieces to over 100 pieces in the past few years. The collection consists of an array of textures, patterns, and colors that delight the eye. This same flair for design and mixing colors is also applied to other upholstered products shown in the store, making them veritable focal points in any room. Each piece of furniture is individually selected to uphold the standard of quality that Jeff is looking for.

Jeff, who has been at the helm of the store for the last 16 years, attributed his success to listening to the desires of his customers over the years. “Most manufacturers never even talk to the customer,” he explains. “I see what they want and listen to their complaints and hear their needs.” In addition to Jeff, Zimmerman’s Furniture employs a highly qualified staff of design experts to make every room look special.
